To ground this project in local experience, we combined three main types of community input:
Community survey: An island-wide survey that gathered perspectives on values, housing and affordability, gaps and opportunities, local services, tourism, and economic diversification.
Workshops: Two interactive sessions, held on June 3 and October 4, 2025, where participants worked in small groups to explore community values, map strengths and challenges, and turn ideas into action steps.
Interviews: One-on-one and small-group conversations with key knowledge holders to deepen our understanding of local context, history, and emerging opportunities.
This page focuses on what happened in the June 3 and October 4 workshops.
